Adrienne C. Watts is a licensed Attorney and Counselor with over 30 years of experience and specializes in Estate Planning and Probate, as well as Elder Law and Disability Rights.

The Law Office of Adrienne C. Watts, PLC specializes primarily in educating clients on the need for Estate Planning and how to protect their assets, then carefully crafts the documents needed to accomplish those goals. A secondary focus is in the area of Elder Law, in client matters such as Medicaid planning, guardianships and conservatorships. A small part of Adrienne's practice is devoted to general practice cases and litigation.

Background

In addition to legal practice, Ms. Watts has been an Adjunct Professor at the Wayne County Community College District since 2003. Adrienne previously worked for the Detroit Police Department as a Police Officer for 26 years and as a Legal Instructor with the Detroit Metropolitan Police Academy for 4 years. She is now a retiree with the City of Detroit.

Ms. Watts is a graduate of the Detroit College of Law, now the Michigan State University College of Law, and also received her Bacherlor's Degree from Wayne State University. Adrienne is an active Member in the Ferndale Area Chamber of Commerce, a board member of the Metropolitan Detroit YWCA as well as an advisory member for the Healthier Black Elders Program of the Institute of Gerontology at Wayne State University. Furthermore, Adrienne is a former member of the Wayne State University College of Liberal Arts Alumni board.
